The Yukon Wood Products Association (YWPA) represents the people who cut, mill, transport, build with, and heat the Yukon using local wood.

We connect communities, governments, and industry to strengthen Yukon’s forest-based economy and support local energy independence.

A YESAB Decision Document has been issued, increasing access to building logs and fuelwood this winter.

Forestry & Bioenergy Conference

Our 2025 conference brought together 60+ participants from across the Yukon and Canada. Planning is underway for an expanded 2026 event supporting Yukon operators and communities.
